Getting anything but a small suitcase onto French trains is an absolute nightmare and we had 3 trains to catch from Paris’s Charles De Gaulle airport to get to Irun, Spain where we will forward most of our stuff (for 14 weeks away) to Santiago de Compostella. I can’t wait to just carry a 7 kg pack for 20 kms x 38 days. Luxury!
