Our first day – we traversed city streets, farm tracks, soft & rocky forest paths, steep climbs and stairs. Ups – reality that we are really here; no extra baggage, nice weather, helpful locals. Downs – broken first night’s sleep, no place at our preferred albergue. But our now tired bodies have done us proud getting us all the way to San Sebastian on our first day – over 20 kms
